| Physical Description | Elian is tall and fit, but not overly muscular. His hair is longer than is usual for someone in the Imperial Fleet. He has a mustache and short beard. Between the hair and facial hair, he strikes a balance between burliness and clean that he knows women find incredibly attractive. While on the Yamato, he wears a red uniform consistent with his role as a pilot. However, given that he's not actually with the Imperial Fleet, he prefers to stay in his civilian clothing, which usually includes the light shirt and dark jacket of many Madenan freelancer pilots. |

| General Overview | Elian is a rogue, cad, knave, rake, rascal, villain, wild element. He is incredibly charming and, when he's not aboard the Yamato, rarely sleeps alone. He is also very good at his job as a pilot and starship mechanic. He maintains underworld contacts from his Orion Syndicate and freelancing days. |
| Personal History | Elian was born on the planet Atlec, in the Omega Sagitta System (part of the Coalition of Madena). His parents were working class. His father Solph earned an honest living in the shipyards, while his mother Para was an enforcer with a local crime syndicate. Elian learned skills from both. The syndicate for which Para worked eventually made contact with the Orion Syndicate. When Elian was 16, Para decided to leave her husband and all of Atlec behind to work with the Orions. Elian decided to go with her and snuck aboard the Orion ship. When he was found, the Orions threatened to space him, but Para convinced them that he would be useful. He worked on the ship during the journey to Farius Prime, where he spent the next nine years doing starship maintenance and occasionally serving as a pilot for Syndicate mercenaries. In 2361, at age 25, Elian met a beautiful young woman named Jane Sinclair, a Terran woman who was on the run from the Empire after her dissent parents were executed. She began running in the same Syndicate circles as he, and they began a friendship with occasional benefits. They began working jobs together. Sometimes they would pose as a couple on a date to go to a restaurant and then demand protection money from the owners. Sometimes he would be the pilot or the muscle for a mission where she was the lead. On one job, Jane helped Elian steal a starship from an impound lot together. Rumour had it that the freighter was filled with kemocite, which could be processed into a powerful explosive. Corrupt officials from the planet's government tried to extort bribes out of the freighter's owner, a company he learned was based on Atlec and did regular trade with its sister planet Straleb. While impounded, Jane and Elian stole it from under their noses. Elian gave the kemocite as a tribute to the Free Orion woman Vaar, Chief Lieutenant to Syndicate Captain Narhal. He asked for 10% of the profits from the kemocite sale as payment and to keep the ship. She agreed. Using his new ship, which he named the Titania, Elian and Jane continued doing jobs for the Syndicate. They each earned a lot of money together, worked their way into the Syndicate's inner circle together, and had their fair share of fun. Elian stole better parts for the ship, including a pair of nacelles off a Klingon strike fighter, something he still brags about. In late 2363, Jane arranged for Elian to take her on a short excursion to Farius Prime's moon. Elian didn't understand why, given that the entirety of the Orion Syndicate on Farius had gathered for some important event and he wanted to be present for it, but she was...convincing. The Titania was on the moon when the ISS Punisher entered the system and killed or imprisoned over 100 Syndicate officers. Jane revealed herself as Lieutenant jg Juliet St. Clair, Imperial Intelligence. She seduced and murdered Syndicate Captain Narhal and arranged for the mass arrest. She saved Elian's life, but also made it so that he could never return to the Syndicate or to Farius. She left evidence tying him to multiple crimes, and murdered Lieutenant Vaar in his bed. When the Punisher recovered Juliet, she identified the Titania and her Captain only as a key asset, to be let go. Elian was permitted to go. He spent the next year running both legal and illegal freight throughout local space, working alone. In mid 2364, Elian received a summons and took the Titania to Starbase 12. When he arrived, Juliet St. Clair, soon to be made Chief Intelligence Officer of the ISS Yamato, presented him with additional blackmail information. His mother Para had been among the prisoners taken by the ISS Punisher. She would be well cared in higher quality Imperial prisons so long as Elian worked with the Empire. The Titania was put aboard the Yamato and would be used as an asset for the Intelligence Department as needed. |
